“A BOY AND HIS THOUGHTS”

ivonprefontaine:

There is a simplicity in a child’s life that reveals much about them and the way we can relate to the universe we live in.

After I re-blogged this post, Dina told there is a photographer to give credit to. It is Elena Shumilova. The oversight was not intentional.

I wish that my life was as beautiful as this boy’s life…

I din’t know where these pictures were from. They were sent to me by my sister, Marjan. Morgan, a fellow poet of Word Press and a dear freind commented that they are taken by Elena Shumilova, a Russian mother and photographer. Later I googled her and found out that Morgan is right. I want to thank him for letting me to give credit to this wonderful photographer…

About ivonprefontaine

I have been an educator for almost 20 years. Prior to that, I worked in private industry for 15 years, then returned to university to earn my education degree. For the past 11 years, I have been a co-creator of learning in a unique, progressive, alternative educational school of choice. Currently, I am engaged in a doctoral program at Gonzaga University in Spokane. A main theme in my learning there has been the roles of systems thinking, complexity theory, and organizational theory, and how they apply to education generally and the learning environment I share with students, parents, and colleagues.

  1. Dear Ivon,
I’m amazed that you as well as Ellie present the work of an artist without knowing her name and her consent! What about the copyrights? Be careful, the photographer Elena Shumilova may not appreciate this action …
    Best regards
    Dina
