Kindness is something we can give without expectation of return.
Kindness ~ Mark Twain
About ivonprefontaine
I completed a PhD at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Previously, I taught for 20 years and taught for 15 years in a wonderful hybrid school. My dissertation topic and research were how certain teachers experience becoming who teachers. In teaching and leanring, I am a boundary-crosser who understands moving ahead is a leap of faith. Teaching is a calling and vocation to express who I am as a person. Currently, I am waiting and listening to what calls me next. I am an educator, phenomenologist, scholar, boundary-crosser, published poet, author, parent, grandparent, and spouse.18 responses »

beautiful! ❤
Mark Twain had a way with words.
I would add it´s beautifully sad. And the photo was a great touch for the quote Mr.Prefontaine.
Beautiful and sad are part of life. Thank you Charly.
So wonderful. A picture really does speak a thousand words.
They do.

Thank you.
The world can always use an extra dose of kindness.
It can.
Yes!
Kindness is free to give. We should give daily.
It is the gift that gives back in uncertain ways. We do not know when the kindness we show will return to us.
you should do a series of his quotes.Never get enough of him!
He was prolific and his quotes remain relevant.
