When I watch children at play, this Einstein quote pops into my head. Children imagine in ways we, as adults, have forgotten how to imagine. Epictetus and Shenryu Suzuki desribed the child’s mind as the beginner’s mind where anything can be imagined anew.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
—Albert Einstein

I came across this Labyrinth recently and practiced walking meditation. Although walking meditations can be done anywhere, a labyrinth reflects wholeness, balance and coming back to oneself. Labyrinths invite a person to practice taking steps with gentle awareness.
