I was preparing notes yesterday for the Eco-Ethics class and used the concept of tree rings as a way of telling a story. This lovely haiku popped up this morning with the same thought. In my journal, I wrote that the concept of “entanglement” from quantum physics might be a key to understanding what connects us in the virtual world. What ways do actions in one place influence seemingly unconnected people elsewhere?

I share this vast wondering? Especially across centuries, words of individuals touch, motivate and reignite lives. Like today is St. Francis of Assisi and his prayer (Make me an instrument of your peace) has certainly affected me. We do influence but impossible to see/know how? Enjoyed your haiku.
Thank you for the wonderful comment. We used the Prayer of St.Francis as part of our wedding ceremony. I wonder if it made all the difference thinking back?
Everything in my opinion have hidden threads of connection, though a connection is not that obvious in the quantum world it often becomes revealed in synchronicity.
Thank you very much for reblogging.
You are most welcome.
