encouragement

This blog often combines a beautiful piece of visual imagery alone with a short haiku that brings clarity. If I practice long enough and feel encouraged, I grow as a person. Several posts this morning in my email were about taking a breath and just pausing in the moment. Synchronicity plays a vital role in life. I only have to stop and realize it.

About ivonprefontaine

I completed a PhD at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Previously, I taught for 20 years and spent the last 14 years teaching in an incrediable hybrid school setting. My dissertation topic and research were how certain teachers experience becoming who teachers. For me, teaching is a calling and vocation that allows me to express who I am as a person. Currently, I am waiting and listening to what will call me next. I am an educator, phenomenologist, scholar, published poet, author, parent, grandparent, and spouse.
