As I enter a New Year, I wonder whether I can live up to the wonderful quote taken from the writings of Thich Nhat Hanh? Awareness of my words, thoughts, and actions is important as I move forward into 2013 which will be a year of substantial change.

Also, you are the sum of your actions, thoughts and words.
A good new year 2013 desires we.
Greeting, Wolfgang
Wolfgang enjoy your New Year. Take care, Ivon
Imagine coming up with a new thought every day! Not just any old thought, but something others can take something away from. Congratulations! And thanks too for looking in on my site from time to time. All the best for 2013 – Sharon
that sounds right. The first step, of course, is to take personal responsibility for every word and every act. Every action should be a product of intention.
You are right Shimon. I think that what you say is what is missing many days in our world.
Indeed! A good selection for a post. Wonderful …
Thanks for sharing this. I am finding a lot of truth in it as well as inspiration.
An a Happy New Year!
That is what I have tried to teach my children;
“Our future is governed by our history which we write in our present.”
It is very difficult. I use another Thich Nhat Hanh quote about the ordinary being extraordinary with my students. I find it is somewhat easier to explain that for them.
Thank you for the comment.
